On Dec. 9~10, 2007, on invitation of Prof. Xianglin Gu, Prof. David I. McLean (Professor and Chair of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Washington State University) gave a lecture on “Effectiveness of Confinement Reinforcement for Improving the Ductility of Masonry Structures” to the students and faculty members of the Department of Building Engineering, Tongji University.
